I'm an established Australian author, and after absorbing myself in reading and writing crime fiction during my career, I have had a change of heart.

I remember my Nan having a stash of Mills & Boon books under her bed, the ones with the half-naked couples on the front, and thought of her often while writing this book.

I believe we all need some escapism and romance, regardless of our age or what we do in our daily lives. 

What I've discovered is that Aussie cowboys and cowgirls do it BEST. I've thoroughly enjoyed a break from the deep dark places my crime novels take me, and I hope you do too.
