In two words, bloody amazing.
I've been a writer my whole life. My first story was published when I was eight years old and I have been writing in one form or another since then.
I have written and published more than 10 books and I have read more books than I could ever keep track of. I love so many different genres and I have read my fair share of romance novels but it wasn't until I was writing my latest crime novel where my characters kept taking me into more spicy scenes than I'd ever written before that I decided to switch it up.
I am having the time of my life writing in the spicy romance genre under a pen name, which essentially is starting from scratch after more than a decade of living very publicly in author land. It's liberating!
Missy Best is having the BEST time writing about Aussie cowboys, cowgirls and the Australian outback. We have our very own version of Yellowstone life over here in the wide open outback plains where life is laid-back and free.
As soon as I finished Always You the words flew off the page for book number two in the Not My First Rodeo series. It's not quite finished but I've written the final scene (spoiler alert, I cried) and I am already planning the third instalment.
Thanks for popping by. I look forward to meeting my new readers who are ready to spice up their lives and come on a few Australian outback adventures with me!
Best,
Missy B x
